This week the scientists of MP1 have been busy examining rock samples, exploring properties such as hardness, density and texture. Finding out about the properties of different rocks can help scientists correctly classify them! We performed scratch tests, observed if our rocks sink or float in water, and described what we saw and felt in our science journals.
